I do not try to legitimize rape culture here but I strongly disagree with the views of someone who blame Mr Modi who himself denounced the crime and said, "As a country, as a society we all are ashamed of it (rapes)." Prevention of crimes against women, children come under state jurisdiction and law enforcement agencies have an important role to play here. Our world today is in moral decline. Have you ever heard toddlers are raped or father impregnated his own daughter. Yes, such disgusting and heart wrenching crimes are taking place all over the world at a fast pace. To combat challenges of this nature, we have to start from the family. Charity begins at home. Try to be a role model. Educational institutions should be upgraded with qualified educators with clean background. Law enforcement agencies are to be overhauled. Before hiring policeman, there must be a through background check. Increase night patrolling and surveillance cameras should be engaged. Rapists should have harsher punishments. Rapists of children must get death sentence. Last but not least that candidates with criminal background should not be allowed to contest elections. We can not tolerate the fact that corrupt goons with no education will rule the educated civil servants and masses. Finally, I can say with certainty that at this time there's no replacement for Modi in India. No leader can match his stature, character and dedication.
