प्लास्टिक खाती गायें, किस राम को पुकारे कि चारा मिले, हलाल होती गायें किस खुदा को पुकारें कि सहारा मिले रेप होती मासूमों की ख़बरों में अनूप, वो ज़ायेका कहाँ. जब तलक ना उसमें किसी मज़हब का बघारा मिले.

I do not try to legitimize rape culture here but I strongly disagree with the views of someone who blame Mr Modi who himself denounced the crime and said, "As a country, as a society we all are ashamed of it (rapes)." Prevention of crimes against women, children come under state jurisdiction and law enforcement agencies have an important role to play here. Our world today is in moral decline. Have you ever heard toddlers are raped or father impregnated his own daughter. Yes, such disgusting and heart wrenching crimes are taking place all over the world at a fast pace. बलात्कार जैसे कुकृत्यों से ले कर पुलिस अधिकारियों के पास आये फरियादियों के साथ गाली गलौच अश्लील भाषा - ये कौन लोग हैं, ये कैसा मुल्क़ है? क्या एक अकेला मोदी इस पतनशील जर्जर संस्कृति का ह्रास रोक सकेगा? लोग कितने संवेदनहीन और जंगली हो चले हैं। अरे भाई सूरज (मोदी) कहाँ आ गए इन निशाचरों के बीच, किसी को नहीं तुम्हारी रोशनी की ज़रूरत है, अँधेरा फलता फूलता यहाँ, रुको तुम, अभी सब शिकार में बहुत व्यस्त है।

हजारों मील दूर अमेरिका में बैठे मैं जब बसीरहाट के दंगों की खबरें सुनता हूँ तो मुझे कुछ आश्चर्य नहीं लगता. ये बचपन के दिनों के “जेमिनी सर्कस” का अलग अलग जगहों में प्रदर्शन की याद दिलाता है. सोचता हूँ तो लगता है उसी तरह के सर्कस की पुनरावृत्ति है. ये लोग पहले सताये गए, मारे गए, "जंग, भूख और बीमारी से बचा लो" का विलाप करते किसी भारत, यूरोप, ऑस्ट्रेलिया अथवा अमेरिका में शरणार्थी का चोला पहन प्रवेश करेंगे. ये किसी भी रूप में हो सकते हैं- बांग्लादेशी, सीरियन अथवा रोहिंग्या मुस्लिम (उस कारवां में शरणार्थियों का मुखोटा लगाये पाकिस्तानी अवश्य मिलेंगे)। स्थानीय स्वयंसेवी संस्थाएँ, मानवाधिकार संगठन औऱ कुछ वोट बैंक पाने के लोभी राजनीतिक पार्टियां उनके समर्थन में प्रदर्शन कर सुर्खियाँ बटोरेंगे। उसके बाद ये “दले कुचले” लोग उस मुल्क़ में प्रवेश कर अपने को स्थापित करेंगे। अपनी संख्या बढ़ाएंगे। फिर मस्जिद, शरिया कानून, बुर्का प्रथा, तलाक़ तलाक़ तलाक़, मदरसा औऱ अजान की गूंज सुनाई देने लगेगी। ISIS के परचम दिखेंगे और जिहाद की कसमें खाई जाएंगी। बम हथियारों का प्रवेश पिछले दरवाज़े से होता रहेगा। कुछ सु...

कल जो बुजर्गों का किस्सा था वोआज अपने साथ देखा सूरज की जवानी देखी  गर्मी का अहंकार देखा फिर रात की बैसाखी लिए अँधेरे में उसे गुम होते देखा ज़िन्दगी की ढलान पे सब वो खिलोनें दिखे जिनको सजाते संवारते उम्र तमाम होते देखा. आज वीरान अपना घर देखा तो कई बार झाँक कर देखा पाँव टूटे हुए नज़र आये एक ठहरा हुआ सफ़र देखा.

As per the legend, the first known king of Kashmir was Gonanda, a friend of Jarasandh and father-in-law of Lord Krishna.
